The Professional Accreditation of Conservator-Restorers (PACR) scheme implements standards for the care of our cultural heritage across a range of disciplines. Conservator-Restorers accredited by PACR have demonstrated to assessors that they have the appropriate knowledge, practical skills and sound professional judgement.

The PACR accreditation scheme is owned by the Institute of Conservation and operated in collaboration with participating bodies the Society of Archivists and the British Horological Institute.

For a full explanation of all aspects of the scheme, look at the relevant PACR documentation, particularly the candidate pack available on this website.
